Cleveland Indians and Terry Francona in town this week. And he is going to John Farrell's first chemo treatment this week. Talk about a good guy. Hate the way the media treated him when he was canned.

My guess on records in that span:
Jays:8-3

So prediction by end of this thread is....
Jays:73-57

So Jays/Yankees tied for 1st with 6 game lead I think over 2nd WC(if I did math correctly)?

Yes 6. But while tied for practical purposes, technically the Yankees would be listed before the BJ because of their slightly higher winning%

Bu that's also something else which could play a role in how the season ends up.

Yankees have longer stretches without breaks. This late in season, wonder how that'd impact the teams performance. Jays got a good amount of offdays to close out season(in next 8 days alone,they got 3 days off).

Jays got some 9 game stretches,but longest is 10(which happens twice).

Yankees are currently on game 7 of a 16 game stretch with a break. Then September they play 13 straight, get a day off,then play 17 straight after that to close out season.

Those are indeed some long stretches without days off. But I trust Girardi in properly managing the players to give them some rest with the expanded rosters to keep them fresh (as fresh you can be at this point of the season).

In other news, yesterday I completed a trade for Tulo and Price in one of my fantasy leagues.
