Why leave Rodney out there after he gives up TWO straight base hits? Then he hits the next batter and its bases loaded, no outs. Won't even get a chance for our top of the lineup to hit if we lose it here.

Edit: wow, he struck out Fielder, surprising. Still have Beltre up tho, let's gets a DP

Rodney ****ING WALKS IN THE WINNING RUN. WHY LEAVE HIM OUT THERE.

Good God, our team is gonna get a huge overhaul next year.

Lloyd should be gone and Jack Z will DEFINITELY be gone. If neither of them go, especially "trade for big power hitters like I'm Vince McMahon" Jack Z, then ownership really just doesn't care.

Edit: props to whoever gets the McMahon joke.

I dunno how Fernando Rodney is still trotted out there in high leverage situations. Oh well...least Lloyd McClendon will never be a big league manager ever again.

SO many missed oppurtunities this season. Horrible management, horrible hitting with runners on, horrible pitching, just a horrible season. So many expectations, so little of them met.

3 unearned runs is usually a pretty good way to get it going against any pitcher.

Don't know what Lloyds facination with Rodney is. He finally took him out, and now he's putting him back out there for no reason. Rodney hasn't done **** to earn any oppurtunities. I don't know if everyone really gets how horrible Lloyd is.

The Braves may suck this year, but man, Simmons/Peterson are fun to watch. Do yourself a favor and watch the 4-6-3 DP they turned in the 8th against the Padres...unreal.

You will say this a lot in the next 2 months. Since you guys are now actually contending, I figured I'd warn you (from prior experiences).

Pretty rare that you'll see a defensive mistake by Brandon Crawford cost the Giants a game.

Yup...guy has turned into a great player with the glove and the bat. Love watching him play and mistakes like that are rare.

Okay...UZR talk time. I get that the guys doing the calcs and ratings on UZR watch EVERY play, but I am at a loss how Cameron Maybin is grading out so poorly.

I literally watch every Braves game, either live or via condensed, and while he hasn't been Andruw Jones out there, he's been pretty darn good. Yet, he grades out 14 runs below average in CF. I know, I know...small sample sizes, etc, with defensive metrics, but it's just odd when what your eyes see doesn't even come close to matching up with what the metrics say.

He also has the strongest arm. Jon Miller said that he observed Statcast's rankings for the speed of all throws during the month of July, and he was atop that list.

If you saw his play yesterday afternoon while drawing himself away from first base, you would agree too. I can't believe how much he gets off his arm alone.
