Haren has turned out to be a big dud for the Cubs.

We didn't really give up anything to get him, meh. Maybe there is a waiver deadline pickup to me made? At this point, Theo and Jeddie have to see the playoffs as a very likely thing.

Trying to corner the market on washed up RPs. First it was Motte (who's been decent), then Soriano, and now Rodney. They seem to be stockpiling guys that they hope Maddon/Bosio can fix.

I love MLBN when they show the mechanics of the game...I love to watch pitching mechanics explained, especially.

They had about a 10-minute segment where Pedro was showing how pitchers must close their front leg before throwing otherwise they open up and put more strain on their labrum/elbow...he was using pre-ASG Carlos Martinez as an example.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The part i like with mlbn is how they show speeded up version of basically every game during gametime. Now especially when scoreboard watching is a big thing,its cool to drop in on other games of interest quickly(during commercial break of your own teams game) and get speeded up highlight of past inning in that game
