Mets just won the NL East. First time since 2006.

Hate that they won it, but it was beautiful watching the Nationals collapse.

What is it the altitude, or just the general design of the park?

Congrats to the Mets...great season and they really earned it. Good luck in the playoffs.

                  Mike Trout is simply inhuman.

I want to also add my congratulations to the Mets. I've been following them from afar all season long and they've been a pleasure to watch. (well except that series against the Jays LOL) Here's to hoping the Amazins can continue to ride the crest of success.

Dodgers are only team left in NL that needs to clinch playoff spot. After that it's just gonna be about seeding. Whether or not Pirates can overtake Cards for 1st in NL, and who gains home field advantage in Mets-Dodgers series.

After this year, maybe MLB would reconsider playoff formatting. Instead of the WC winner facing the #1 seed, maybe do it based on records? Like reseeding after the WC game. Cause if season ended today,Yankees if they win WC,will have 3rd best record in LDS,but will be facing the 1 seed. In the NL,Pirates could have 2nd best record in LDS,but facing 1 seed.

So instead, whoever wins WC game,if they happen to be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the LDS,they face the 2nd or 3rd seed in that series. Meaning it's possible for the WC team to get home advantage in round 1. So the LDS would really be 1 seed vs 4 seed and 2 seed vs 3 seed, instead of 1 seed vs WC winner and 2 other division winners facing off.

That's his best catch yet. He's unreal. (Yes, I am biased).

I know everyone is on the Donaldson for MVP train, but I think Trout, especially if the Angels end up in the playoffs, is the guy. Love watching him play...

There's no one out there I'd rather see play. That being said, I get the Donaldson MVP chatter. I think Trout is the MVP, but if Donaldson wins it, I am cool with that.

I can see the cases for each guy. But I think Trout could be doing with it a little bit less. Compare the 2 lineups 2-3-4, Angels Calhoun, Trout, Pujols. Blue Jays: Donaldson, Bautista, EE or Donaldson, Tulo, Bautista.
