It's fairly safe to say that he'll break Aaron's record, but it looks like he may be aiming for 800.

Hmm... then I take back my post. If he goes on his pace of 35-40 home runs the next three years then yeah he has a chance to setting a record that will probably take years if A-Rod manages to get close to it.Comment

I think Bonds has a great shot at 800 HRs tho I wish teams would stop being so scared to pitch to him. At some point you're going to have to pitch to the guy no matter what. I also think it depends on if the Giants improve in the seasons to come. I don't think Bonds will want to leave San Fran and finish his career in the AL.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
