Soriano played like an MVP. LOL

        .118
        1 BB
        4 K
        2 RBI

        and a few Errors/Misplays

        <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

        Tejada:
        .143
        7 Strikeouts
        1 Walk
        4 RBI

        Big difference, lol.

After all the clutch hits that Tejada had this year, I was surprised he didn't come through in that series. He had some big chances in Game 5, and he didn't get the job done. Soriano was the same way.

I voted for Rodriguez in the poll, but that was before the playoffs started. His year was too good to overlook for me.

            Re: AL MVP

I voted for Soriano before the playoffs but if the Twins get to the World Series, my vote would be for "other" in the poll - the other being Torii Hunter. Well, maybe not, cause I think Soriano did so much for the Yankees production during the regular season and his performance was better than Hunter's during the regular season. Its a tough call

The MVP is for the season only and I believe the vote is supposed to be in before the playoffs start.

My bad, I forgot Before I was just responding to the Soriano playoff stats post. I think that Tejada was the MVP but I'm such a biased Yankee fan that I want Soriano to win it
