Not sure where to put this but i'll put it here. I happened to watch High Heat today and Eric Byrnes absolutely ripped Russo a new one during his segment. All show long Russo, Schein, and Sherman were pumping up the Yankees and saying they'll win today. (thankfully Shulman didn't fall into that trap) Byrnes comes on and basically shouts Russo down telling him how stupid Russo and those guys are with their east coast bias and love of the Yankees.

Byrnes can be grating at times but I wanted to stand up and cheer hearing him rip Russo apart.

I could definitely see Carlos Gomez being the difference tonight. The chip on the shoulder, inferiority complex-type players are the ones who do that sort of thing.
