Pretty good game so far and I have to say I hope Jess Mendoza gets promoted to doing SNB this year. She doesn't say much but when she does she cuts through the BS and gives incisive commentary. Having her in the booth has the added benefit of keeping Kruk from being too bad of a doofus.
She's pretty good. Better than pretty much every other trash analyst/PBP/color/whatever loser ESPN trots out on their shows and broadcasts.

Of course, ESPN and others constantly focus on the fact that she's a woman rather than the fact that she does a good job. Probably counter-productive.

If Keuchel continues to get a large strike zone this could be tough for the Yanks to come back.

In both homers ESPN started the shot behind plate. How about you cut the crap and keep the regular shot on.

Well, that fizzled out in a hurry. Stros still up 2-0.

Wonder if Girardi's job is safe if they lose given the 2nd half performance and their payroll.

Few Yanks fans I know wish he was gone.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

That would be pretty hasty. A lot of people didn't expect the Yankees to do what they did this year. I mean, what the hell do you expect in the 2nd half when the bulk of your team is on the wrong side of 30. I keep him for another year or two.

                              The dumb ones.

If anything they've overachieved. The roster isn't good.

Too many years of either neglecting the farm system, or just failing to develop talent. Thankfully we finally have some young players breaking in or on the verge.

Geez...A guy plays the game the right way and still gets boo'd. Poor Gardner. You either get choked or boo'd these days no matter how hard you bust it down the line to 1B.
