Twins win by their usual ways: good pitching, good defense and timely hitting. Hopefully they continue to play well into game 2.

Big win for the Twins. They played a great all around game. The Yankees are going to have to hit better with RISP if they want to come back.

I think the Twins can beat the Yanks in this series, I think tonight is the biggest game of the series, if Radke can win tonight, I don't think the Yanks can win two at the dome, especially if Santana goes in game 4 (which I think he will)

The Yankees aren't going to win this series if they hit into five double plays, The twins are underrated this year (again) and Santana looks like the AL CY Young winner.

The weird thing about it was Santana didn't look like he had his best stuff. The Yankees just couldn't get a clutch hit.

Santana was off tonight, and a win without his best stuff is a great sign for the Twins. He said his hands were cold and he couldn't get a feel for the ball. It certainly looked that way.

The Twins have the next 2 games to win one. With Santana pitching game 4 at the dome, it would be tough for the Yankees to overcome.

Dissapointing loss. I expected the Yankees to lose this game, but it's dissapointing when they had so many chances, but couldn't take advantage. Even most of the double play balls were hit hard, just right at people. Sierra misses a homerun by a few feet, and is robbed of an extra base hit. Arod robbed by Hunter of an extra base hit, Hunter throwing out Posada, etc. Gotta tip your cap to Santana and the Twins defense.

The Yankees have to play the next 2 games as must wins. A must win game against Santana in the dome would be pretty scary.
