3-1. Twins speed is killing the Yankees.

The only team to not win the WS when beating the Yanks was the 97 Indians. So it is a good omen that the Twins will at least make the WS.

BTW 3-1 Twins now. The blooper then a sac fly. The speed of the Twins has shown up in the first 2 innings.
And didnt Jose Mesa blow the game for the Indians that year against the Marlins? Back on topic, I wonder if Joe Torre is thinking the same thing that the White Sox coach thought: He wished his team played the game the way the Twins do? Go small ball

I am all for small ball but the Twins are better suited for it. They have more team speed. Tonights game has not presented the Yanks with a small ball chance yet. They were trying last night. The hit and run that turned into the first of 5 DP's in the 1st inning, then the missed bunt by Cairo. Its not that Joe does not turn to small ball, he just cant go out there and lay a bunt down for them. No excuse in a MLB player not being ablew to lay down a bunt. The lack of hitting with RISP is what is killing them. That has plagued them all year, not just now. .242 with RISP when you subtract the homers.

                    DAMN YOU SHEF!

If this game turns into a high scoring one then the Twins don't really have a chance to win. I agree with the person who said the Twins speed is killing the Yanks. That's the way to beat a team like the Yanks.

Looks like the Yanks are gonna break out this inning tho

At least these teams have an ability to score when they have opportunities!

                            Damn Braves.
