    the part i find the most hilarious is how beane consistenty sort of goes away from his plan.. he seems to sway from it a lot..

    have any of the trades he made been for the better?

        His recent trades have suspect. Lilly for Kielty wasn't good. The Dotel one on paper is good because he didn't give up anybody off his roster but Dotel didn't perform as expected. The Kotsay for Hernandez was a good one.

        What he has done is an amazing job at drafting. Any team that loses Giambi, Tejada, Isringhausen, and Damon and keeps on winning is doing a good job in my books.

        The A's roster is full of draft picks and players that were aquired by trading away drafted players. And the A's had the highest combined winning percentage in the minors this season.
