Just getting back from the Reds game. Iglesias is a stud and Eugenio Suarez absolutely rakes. What a steal Walt got in him from Detroit. That bullpen though... Yikes. It was also brutally cold and windy which made matters worse.

It's not whether the rule is good or not. It's the fact that every single time there's more rules and regulations introduced to a sport, there's an increase in confusion and controversy. Think about this opening week and how many instances of this garbage there have been already. All these games decided and impacted by umpires like this.
Do we want baseball to turn into basketball and football? That's priority #1 for me---ensuring that baseball doesn't turn into those garbage sports where every single game is marred with some nonsensical crap where nobody knows what a catch is, nobody knows what a charge or block is, etc.
Not to mention how hesitant players will be and are because they're forced to think about this crap instead of just GOING, which will inevitably lead to even more injuries, which is the entire supposed purpose of all this anyway.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 04-09-2016, 06:00 PM.Comment
