Bautista looked like he kind of wasn't sure he could catch that ball. And sure enough he didn't.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

And now a baserunning mistake as Kiermaier's thrown out stealing 3rd....on a walk.

Archer carving up the Jays now but he won't be much longer for the game - over 100 pitches through 5. Plus he seems to be shaking his hand after most pitches.

Strikes out the side in the 5th. 12k's.

About time someone said something about that ridiculous strikezone.

Stroman denied the CG after 2 9th inning hits. Jays still up 5-2.

That got a little sketchy, but Osuna closes it down.

He wouldn't be as bad if they got rid of Dan Shulman. I'm a fan of Mike Patrick play-by-play, though he's fairly over the senior citizen's age.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

We cut Michael Bourn. I'm a bit surprised but we needed a righty and I think Stubbs provides more value than Bourny would.

Really liked what we saw from Stroman today...just amazing command of all of his pitches and until the 9th, not a single pitch up. He made it look easy. Archer was off, just enough, early on and it cost him. From about the 3rd on he was better, but he really struggled with location at the start.
