Also, since I learned today that the 1988 Orioles started 0-21, does anyone think one of these teams gets close to that?

Also, since I learned today that the 1988 Orioles started 0-21, does anyone think one of these teams gets close to that?

I think the Braves have a better shot at getting to that dubious record than the Twins.

The Braves visit the Twins on July 26th, so if neither has a win by ~the ASG they might have to settle this at that time.


EDIT: While I don't expect this to happen, the Braves have a really tough April schedule. After playing the Cards and Nats 9 times already, they head to Miami (the soft spot) this weekend before finishing the month with: vs Dodgers, vs Mets, vs/at Red Sox, at Cubs. Pretty brutal. 0-fer-April would be pretty amazing.

Cubs doing it again...shredding on offense. This team is ridiculous. I've never seen an attack this relentless since some of those Yankees/Red Sox squads from the mid 2000s.

Best start since 1969 but we know how that ended.

Sorry, got to throw a dash of pessimism for all you Cubs fans. Seriously though, i'm lovin' it. I want to see those lovable losers win it all.

I can't wait to see what the Velasquez kid can do against the likes of the Nationals. That performance against the Padres will be a great memory for him, but now he'll really start seeing some tests.
