    Re: 4/3 - 4/17 Game Discussion Thread

Arrieta hasn't given up a run at Wrigley since July 25th of last season. 47 2/3 consecutive IP and the longest ever streak at Wrigley Field.

    Clarification: Regular season.

Jake was so good at bouncing us back from losses last year (among other things). Glad that's still a thing.

Cubs improve to 9-2. Your move, White Sox.

Springer and White both take Verlander deep in the first inning. 3-0 Houston after 1.

Today was my first visit to Wrigley this year. Everything looks incredible. I can't imagine what's it's going to look like when everything around the park is completed.

Also, the last time I saw Arrieta pitch the Cubs got no-hit by Hamels. So I enjoyed the result today a lot more. I had a great time. I'll have to make sure to get out there more often this season.

Pretty amazing how all of the sudden the Braves are hitting...fun while it lasts. Also, can we just give Harper the MVP now? The guy is just crazy good...amazing to watch. 2 years ago I really did laugh at the Trout/Harper debates...now, I honestly think I'd take Harper, and I love me some Trout.

Wainwright simply didn't have it today. Gotta win games when you score 8 runs.

Erick Aybar has such a wet noodle of an arm...hard to watch after watching Simba for 4 years.

100% expected Stanton to walk us off...he's not seeing the ball well right now, and I'm fine with that.

                              Was Stanton even trying?

I just noticed that Colby Rasmus is leading the league is bWAR...so I take a look and notice in 11 games he's already equaled half of his total WAR in 2015.
