Re: 4/3 - 4/17 Game Discussion Thread
Nothing aggravates me more than blown saves...but Chris Johnson of all people getting the rally started with a freaking pop up that dropped into no mans land is beyond angering."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

The rally started when a pitcher wearing a Braves uniform stepped out of the bullpen.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I'm not faulting Jace, but Mallex is an idiot. You don't have to learn how to run the bases. You should know that before coming up to the league. I guess we can applaud him for his hustle and effort to try for 2nd, but that was one of the dumbest things I've seen this season. Between that and our runners getting thrown out at 3rd on grounders to short this year, I just question if they even talk about baserunning with the players.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Braves win in extras...pretty neat that all 3 players (Wisler, Smith, and Peterson) involved in securing the win came from the Padres in the Upton/Kimbrel deals."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. Arenado beating the Cubs all by himself today..."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment
