Arrieta's encore vs the Brewers tonight at Wrigley.

Pretty good game last night. Cubs struggled with Nelson early, but still worked his pitch count up and got to the pen, and Russell made Hill's error hurt. Turned out they needed everything they got as Strop was not sharp.

HAHA, Matt Duffy just obliterated the shift. Leadoff standup triple and he scores on the next hit (also against a shift).

In very surprising news the Braves find themselves down 6-1 in the bottom of the 2nd already in Boston after giving up their 3rd(I think) grand salami of the year.

And Bud Norris goes 1.1, gives up 6 runs on 7 hits. I'm a little rusty on what a quality start is, but I imagine that is close to being one.

Don't worry Braves fans, 102 years ago they started 4-16. Then over their last 89 games they went 70-19 and won the pennant by 10 1/2 games and swept the A's in the World Series.

Man...This is starting to feel like a few years ago where if the opponent scores I almost count it as a loss for the Jays. So many swings and misses and coming up short in RISP situations.
