Erick Aybar is bad at baseball...regardless of how this call goes!"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

I love Arodys Vizcaino...was so pissed when Wren traded him and then couldn't believe we got him back for LaStella!"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Schilling was a great analyst, one of the best at ESPN. He will get a job elsewhere, probably at FS1.Comment

My thoughts exactly. I don't care what he does in his off time or on social media. If he's a good analysts and provides useful insight that's all I care about. I don't care about his political views or his personal life.Comment

Re: 4/18 - 5/1 Game Discussion Thread
Like it or not if you are in the limelight and say things that cause a stir (for whatever reason) your employer will not be happy about it. This is not unique to ESPN (we had an 18 year tenured and very popular news anchor here in Pittsburgh get fired for something she said on Facebook).
It's easy for us to sit here and say we don't care what he does in his off time but the reality of it is that there are people that do care whether that's right or wrong.Comment
