Did Foltynewicz get hurt? I was running errands and my phone said it was an injury delay and then I saw Norris in...I haven't seen/read anything about an injury though.

Benches warned in Pittsburgh following a Zobrist HBP. Marte was hit earlier. Some colorful audio heard (I assume from Joe Maddon).

Giants come storming back against the Reds. Down 6-3 now up 8-6 in the bottom of the 7th.

Possible back-to-back challenges coming on a DP turn. What a mess.

Yeah, just an odd sequence of events.

Wainwright is 2-2 with a 3-run homer in the game.

Wasn't his bat a big part of why they won his last start, too? Waino just taking matters into his own hands.

Well, not a big part as they won 11-4, but he did have a 3 RBI triple.

Watching the Blue Jays is slowly killing my love of the game right now. What a huge difference a year makes.....

Adams homers to give the Cards a 4-3 lead in the 6th.

                        Diaz, 5-3. Back to back.

Adams's was a wall-scraper but Diaz's was not. No doubter to the upper deck in left.

No, he was already right under 100 pitches in the 4th when he came out.

Wong and Grichuk go back to back. 5 HR's for the Cards tonight.

                            Meanwhile, Cubs win 7-2.

                              Brett Oberholtzer stinks.

Thanks...I know it wasn't a great start for him, but it's encouraging that he settled down after getting rocked. Last year he would have imploded (see the Cubs game!). Until he learns to throw his secondary pitches for strikes, however, teams will just sit on his fastball and what happened tonight will continue to happen. This isn't AAA.
