Sad, but not surprising after hearing about the guy's huge struggle with drugs. I think he tested positive several time for cocaine after being put on house arrest.

good heads up.. i also read in a local paper that a friend he was with that day was saying that he acted very "edgy"

Back on topic, from the stories I read from people from that area where he died, I was pretty sure it wasn't a heart attack and what do you know, it turns out it wasn't. He tried getting out of it but once you're an addict it's hard to stop. The Padres tried to help him out in several ways. You can only do so much about one person.

It just goes to show that the game of life is bigger than the game of baseball, and that should put things in perspective a little bit. Hopefully people can learn from his mistakes. RIP Ken.
