    Re: 2016 MLB Draft

I'm always excited at draft time but I'm even more excited this year as the Cardinals have 3 picks in the 1st round and Louisville has 3 players that could potentially go in the first round.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I'm hoping for Rutherford, Pint or Collins at #5 for my Brewers!

        Re: 2016 MLB Draft

One kid from my hometown should be getting drafted (already committed to Vandy on a full scholarship). Only team I have heard interested in him is the Indians because one of their scouts is from our town (Jason Bure). And some kids from college will most likely get drafted late (like around round 30 or so). So going to keep an eye on the draft. Only name I know is Jordan Sheffield (Gary's son and Justice's brother).

Hoping for a college bat for the Mets.

Rutherford will most likely be off the boards at 19 so I'm hoping for 1B/3B Will Craig (Wake Forest) or C Matt Thaiss (Virginia)

I'm hoping the Jays can draft a bat that's projected to be in SS or the OF.

Surprised Puk is still on the board.

Atlanta signed a guy that will be under slot $$ to be able to put more $$ against guys that slide in the 1st, likely because of signability concerns.

Happy with the Brewers pick. Corey Ray, Brett Phillips, Trent Clark - future outfield is looking good.

he looks small in terms of size not height. reminds me of Chris Sale, skinny as hell. i guess that's why he doesn't have the power like the guys were saying.

Red Sox select a potential 1-1 pick, Jason Groome. Have 3 potential 1-1 picks. Espinoza, Moncada, Groome.

Was kind of hoping the Brewers would take Puk since he was still available, but Ray doesn't seem like a bad pick either. (I know very little about draft prospects, just what I've read in the last month or so).
