Y'know, it's nice to finally see the REAL Troy Tulowitzki these days oh and if you take away Dickey's April and May he's having a pretty damn solid season. The Jays are in a much better position heading into the break than they were last year.

Josh Donaldson is just the 6th player in MLB history to go into the All Star Break with 20 HRs and 80 RBI.

He's legitimately having as good or better a year as he did in 2015.

Yep he was the leading vote getter last year. I think part of the reason why he didn't get as many votes this year is that while he's having a helluva year he just hasn't had as many "pull the team out of the fire" kind of moments as this Jays team is a little more well rounded from a contribution in big moments perspective.

Over the past calendar year, Josh Donaldson's been a +10 win player, more than any other position player in baseball. Because Mike Trout exists, we can't call him the best position player in the game, but he's played like it.

Kris Bryant is on fire. Anthony Rizzo is on fire. For my money, the NL MVP front runner right now is one of those two. With all due respect to Kershaw.

Cubs actually win. Despite all the struggles, the Cubs will take a 7 or 7.5 game lead into the break.

Anywho, the Jays have the best club record heading into the break since 1992. The Jays have been 32-17 since May 18th when they were a season worst 4 games under .500 the majority of those wins coming after Bautista has been injured too. I feel good about this team in the 2nd half.
