Wade Miley no-hitting the Cubs thru 5.

Dipoto has to deal him after this, doesn't he?

Fowler walks to lead off the 7th and break up Miley's perfecto.

And Bryant singles to break up the no no.

And the stupid umps have to botch a replay giving the Cubs a run, what a joke.

It wasn't a perfect game, M's had an error.

Cubs go 1 for 2 on replay reviews at home plate in the 7th and lead 1-0 in the 8th. Arrieta with one of his better outings in the past couple of months. 98 pitches, 7+ IP, man on 1st, and 2-0 count to O'Malley.

Should be 0-0 but as previously stated the umps are out to get us.

That first replay call was DEFINITELY an out. It seems even video replay results in terrible calls.

                    SMH.

Nice win by the Jays this afternoon. The J.A. Happ signing is looking like one of the best under the radar signings of the entire offseason thus far. He was excellent today. That 5th inning was a thing of beauty as Devon Travis started off that 7 run inning.

Lots of action at the plate in this Cubs-Mariners game. Bryant cuts down the tying run (Heredia) at home on a weak Aoki grounder to preserve the 1-0 lead. Unless it's overturned by replay....yawn.

EDIT: Play stands as called. Three of the closest plays you'll ever see at the plate all in the past inning or so. Probably any of these calls could've gone either way.

Mariners get to Chapman after the two Arrieta walks, 2-1 M's.

Chapman doesn't have his good fastball, only hitting 101.

                                Wow. How this game turned....

After breaking up a no no and getting a run on a replay review to go up 1-0 in the 7th, the Cubs have crashed.

Arrieta walked 2 to leave a mess for the bullpen in the 8th, Chapman gave up a go-ahead double in a lefty-lefty matchup, then tossed a wild pitch/passed ball (take your pick). All of sudden, the M's are up 3-1.

Then Russell makes a 2-out throwing error to give Seattle another insurance run. Not how Maddon drew it up when he lifted Rondon for Chapman and a 4-out save opp, I don't think.
