Taijuan's outing in Tacoma yesterday: 4 1/3 innings, 6 hits, 4 runs, 4 walks, 3 strikeouts. LeBlanc did perfectly fine today.

Why in the hell are you still going on about this?

He hasn't walked 4 in a game, I don't think ever. So that just says he's pitching bored and uninspired.

An uninspired major league talent should not have that line one way or the other in the minors.

He had a 3.61 ERA, before his last start, so lets not pretend he's a bum. Also, if they are tinkering with his mechanics, that would explain the pedestrian numbers.

Obviously not performance based. Needs time to get rust off. Gave up 6 1st game off the DL. Had a 3.5ish ERA before that. He'll be back up in a week or 2. And honestly it makes no sense. 1st game back of course you're going to be rusty. Miranda isn't the answer. I think they did this to get an extra RP, and we'll only need 4 starters next week+, while he works off the rust. Then either Caminero or Miranda will be sent down.

His ERA was 3.61 before last start, so it doesn't seem logical that they'd send him down because of 1 bad start. He was pitching good before he went on the DL.

No, it's called common sense. He wasn't even struggling, 3.61 ERA before his last start. If it was performance based, that's the quickest hook, I've ever seen.

A-Rod to Miami?

I really don't like that move for Miami. I don't see why they should do it. I think A-Rods pretty much done. Yes he did have that RBI double (I believe it was a double anyway. Maybe just a single?) in his final game as a Yankee but all season he's been horrible and that's all he did in that game. Not like he even totally went off in that game either. Combine that with the fact they can't DH him and it's just a bad move in my opinion. Maybe if it was an AL team I could see taking a chance on him.

I also actually do hope he dosen't go to another team. I would like his last game to be as a Yankee.

Well, M's manager Scott Servais seems to think Taijuan Walker wasn't getting it done. Read this article from about a week ago. Essentially, he's saying that Walker is dogging it when he has a bad start and is not eating innings like he'd like to see.

You know, some people are able to just admit they're wrong and move on...I don't see why other people are incapable of doing just that.

Cubs doing their best to play down to STL. Bases loaded, nobody out and they get nothing. Dexter Fowler taking strike 3 with the bases loaded is not good.

Well any Cubs fan could see that result coming after choking in the BOT 7 and then with Rondon 2-3 mph lower than usual. Good thing these games don't matter a whole lot. Losing games the way these last 2 have gone could be a big problem for a team without a gigantic lead.
