What do you think of bandwagon fans?
The fans who start cheering for the team when they make the playoffs but during the regular season couldn't give a ratsass about the team. I'm sick of all these bandwagon fans calling themselves Red Sox nation when they really are just a bunch of punk kids who flip over cars, start fires, and cause violence. Their not fans of baseball their just using it as an excuse to cause riots.Tags: None -

I don't mind taking **** from real Red Sox fans, who have been watching and supporting the team all year. But it gets old hearing it from people who probably watched the last 2 games of the alcs, and haven't watched another game all year.
I felt the same way last year when after the Yankees won Game 7, everyone was walking around talking ****, and half of them probably could name maybe 5 people on the team.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConn -

Re: What do you think of bandwagon fans?
As a diehard sports fan, there is NOTHING worse than a bandwagoner. It makes me sick to my stomach everytime I think about them. Being a Yankees and Patriots fan(yes I know I know), people assume I'm a bandwagoner but that is far from the case. If we could take every bandwagoner and throw them in a hot stove, nothing would please me more. Times like these, true fans have to keep people like these in check.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Re: What do you think of bandwagon fans?
Being a Cubs fan, in a sick way, its almost a relief when the Cubs lose every year, that way everyone gets the crap off our bandwagon. It was the funniest thing last season, I'd walk around my town and whether I was at the mall, at the movies or the grocery store I'd never fail to see a brand new Cubs hat on about 15 people, its rediculous. I think you can tell a fan by their hat, lol. I left my hat at my mom's house one time and she washed it, it was the worst thing ever. My Cubs hat is one of those nasty dirty hats that my girlfriend isn't too fond of. As for the Red Sox, I'm not some HUGE Red Sox fan but I see them as the Cubs of the AL. I'm REALLY pulling for them.Comment

Re: What do you think of bandwagon fans?
The most annoying thing about the Red Sox bandwagon is not being able to get tickets as easily. And when you do go to the game you ahve 20,000 people that are more interested in fights, the wave and a damn beachball than watching the game.Comment

Re: What do you think of bandwagon fans?
Thats true as well, going to the games and realizing its just a social event. Its the same way here with the Grizzlies, nothing but "get togethers" and such. Its really really annoying.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment
