Theres a difference between being a bandwagon fan and just rooting for a team to win. I mean i'm a diehard sox fan but when i'm talking to someone about the sox who claims theyre a true sox fan and yell red sox nation all the time and they don't even know who mike timlin is then i'm insulted.
What do you think of bandwagon fans?

Re: What do you think of bandwagon fans?
Im a die hard south Florida sports fan but I can tell you that Miami is the Bandwagon capital of the world. The Marlins, Hurricanes, Heat, and yes even the Panthers suddenly magically discovered "devoted life long fans" come playoff time, when the rest of the year these teams have some of the lowest attendence in their respective sports, including the mighty Hurricanes who have no excuse not to sell out every single game. The Dolphins are the only team with a true fan base down here, but even that is gradually withering away as we speak. Nothing annoys me more than bandwagoners, especially when it comes to getting tickets.Comment
