That was insane, I've never seen a ground rule double off the pole either, that was weird.

Rich Hill had a perfect game through 7 innings...and Dave Roberts pulled him.

        Ugh.

Why? Wasn't he only at 88 pitches?

He's had blister issues so the Dodgers have been limiting his pitch counts, but still, you gotta give him the shot at the perfect game. If he gives up a hit, then you can yank him ASAP.

Here's a good look at what I was talking about, he just missed it too.

                  Last 7 games for Dansby:

                  27 ABs, 5 Runs, 10 Hits, 2 HRs, 4 RBIs, 3 BBs, 3 K's

                  .370 / .433 / .630 slash line.

                  That's more like it.

                    All hail Gary Sanchez.

When's this dude gonna cool off? Hopefully not anytime soon.

And what a great outing by Tanaka today. I don't know if he'd get Cy Young but I think he's definitely worthy of consideration. Him, Sale, Kluber, Fulmer, and Verlander are my top candidates. Man, I wish the baseball world would spend some more time talking about just how good Verlander has been this year.

Ya, I've been really happy to see Verlander back to his old self this year...he's been amazing. There have been some tremendous individual performances all around this year...it's been a great season.

Sanchez vs Buchholz today as Jays-Red Sox both look to win the series today. Jays look for first back to back wins in 2 weeks!

Some optimists in the media trying to make comparisons to 93 where the Jays lost 6 straight games right at beginning of September. They have exact same record right now as they did in 93 after 141 games. Game 142 is where the 93 team locked it down and never looked back for remainder of the season/playoffs. Lets hope for similar turnaround this year too.

So i'm switching back and forth between the Bills and Jays game and HOLY COW! That Tulo Grand Slam moment was ELECTRIC! That's exactly how the crowd was like in the playoffs last year.

Try stealing home down 8-7 with men on 1st and 3rd and 2 outs, guys. Brilliant ****ing idea.
