I'm pretty confident he's going to be a Yankee. The only thing that would prevent him from being a Yankee is if someone actually outbids Steinbrenner or he just doesn't want to go to New York.

Alou may be gone, but there's no way Sammy is going anywhere. No one wants his contract and it probably would not be wise for Chicago to just pay someone else to take him. Sammy may have had a bad year, but he's not bad enough to pay a ton of money to have him play somewhere else. Unless he just can't get along with Baker and his teammates I can't see him playing anywhere else but in Chicago next year.

I think Beltran will stay with the Astros, because he stated that he wants to stay if the Astros if they can promise they keep Berkman, Oswalt, Morgan and there young nuclues of players.
