I dont mind DJ, but I would love to see Hawk and Stone, but he'll probably go somewhere on the east coast.

Originally posted by posterI would imangine Steve would get a job somewhere, I don't know if I heard Greg Brown before, although on the package we would get the pittsburgh broadcast crew and it seemed boaring, no offense or anything. I am just mad cause I loved Steve and he was with the Cubs for so long. I will find out how spoiled I was.Comment

Thanks alot Tribune Company scum, you drove away maybe the best color man in sports. I'm sure the next guy will do a great job at what Stone couldn't do, and thats kissing your team's *** when they don't deserve it. In this day and age of broadcasting that caters to the stupid and acts like fans have never seen the sport before, the Cubs had a man that could tell you what was going to happen before it happened, and then tell you why. Now we'll get a Rick Sutcliff type who will insult your intelligence by telling you every coach is awesome and every player is awesome, blah blah blah.Comment

I don't get to hear the broadcasts but It sucks that he leaves because the Tribune company can't take a little honest criticism. I don't like announcers who take the company line all the time. I like to hear some intelligent and truthful commentary.
Hmmm maybe the Jays can hire himMember of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
