I really hope the Cubs trade Sosa. At this point I would take a bunch of minor leaguers for him. The Sosa for Green Trade sounds good to me. Much better then any trade the Mets can come up with.

Gammons saying Delgado is a "back-burner" is assenine. He is one of the O's top priorities.
Their top priority should be Carl Pavano and Eric Milton.

                        No. No way.

No way in hell do we want Eric Milton. He was a pitcher with a good offense backing him up. Take win/loss record out of the equation, and he is a mediocre pitcher at best with the Phillies.

As for Pavano, it is looking more and more like he will end up with either the Yanks, Sox, or back with Florida. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have him in Baltimore, and the Beattie tie might help from Montreal, I just have a hard time seeing it happening.

I still believe Beane will trade one of his Big Three, and the Orioles keep getting thrown out in that rumor mill. So, I still hope for our ace to come from there. I guess I don't mind signing Derek Lowe as my 3-4 starter, and to be honest, It wouldn't kill me to see any combination of Erik Bedard/Matt Riley/Rodrigo Lopez/John Maine fill he 4 and 5 spot. Riley was a head case last year, but both he and Bedard have nasty stuff.

All I want, is to see Carl Pavano in the Bronx.
