The small things get overlooked in baseball. If Phillips turns what should have been a DP, this inning doesn't happen. If Flowers positions himself where he should have been, he gets the out at the plate. Man, Guerra didn't get much rope today. Gone after 3 and gave up 2 runs on 1 hit. He wasn't hurt was he?

Good question. His swing wasn't fantastic then either (always had the arm bar), but had a much better stride and thrust, They keep saying to get him back where they used to be, so what was wrong with his original stance then? Just picked up bad habits along the way, I guess.

I can only laugh at Freeman saying this team would be competing for a playoff spot. We will be lucky to compete for 4th in the division. The bullpen is still there worst in the league, we forgot catchers matter, we think having 2 guys at 22 years old to bring down the average of the roster to below 30 will make the whole team younger.
