It has more explosion (probably more of a conscious awareness on his end), but sadly it's still an elongated swing with very little backside follow-through. Better grip of the bat, though.

For comparison's sake, it's still much closer to last year's swing than this offseason's swing that we saw in video form. Now if he can get to that, that would certainly be impressive.

Happy for him either way.

Yeah the swing is still pretty rough.. he's just doing a much better job of getting his foot down and being on time.

Don't deserve to win if you can't turn two dp's. I have serious concerns about Dansby's ability to play SS at this level...Philips is over the hill, so I don't care, but Dansby is really struggling all around.
