The bullpen is ***. Newcomb looked good. Gonna take a while for me to get over the fact that he is a Patriots and, if I remember correctly, a Lakers fan.

A Cy Young should do it. Eh maybe not. I'll take a ring.

            Parity in the baseball.

The A's winning percentage is .435, they are tied with the White Sox as the teams furthest back in the WC race at 5 games back.

In the NL, the Pirates also are at .435 and are 10 games back in the WC race (5.5 back in the division lol).

The NL is the definition of uncompetitive. I don't care if it's June, when the first team outside the wildcard is over 6 games out, that's not good. When the other league is entirely within 5 games of their wildcard, now that's bad. You can say what you want about, "Colorado will choke," or, "The Cubs will show up." They sure ain't choked or showed up yet!

                Well. That's a nice start.

4-0 as the first 4 Cubs to face Senzatela reach and score.

June 11. Everyone chillax about the standings. I personally don't take a look until around the 80 games mark.

                    Arrieta can't get through 5 after being given a 4-0 lead...4-4 now in the 5th. I don't think we'll ever see 2015 Jake again.

Thanks for the heads up, this is my first rodeo in the MLB. Now I know to not pay attention the the standings until later on down the road. Never knew things changed.

WOW @ the turn Schwarber just put on that one. Low and away and 434 feet into the right field bleachers.

Aaron Judge hit a single, a double, and two homers, one of them going 495 feet.

I love seeing the Orioles get annihilated.

If this Judge thing keeps up....it's going to be reallllllllly good for baseball.

Davis picked a good day to have a shaky outing - had a 3 run lead and only gave up one. Might have taken himself out of tomorrow night's game, though.

Cubs salvage one game of the series.

Cardinals tried to give it away, but hang on for the 6-5 victory.
