Re: 6/12 - 6/25 Game Discussion Thread
Carl Edwards Jr. in and he has some pretty amazing numbers...he's given up just 12 hits in 29.1 IP this season. A 3.68 H/9 is pretty ridiculous; I can't recall seeing a rate so low. Chapman-esque. If his control (4.03 BB/9) was a bit better, he'd be an upper echelon closer instead of a setup guy.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Kemp's ground rule double may end up hurting the Braves here, the bounce at least, if Suzuki doesn't drive in another run or two. Phillips had a good chance at scoring from first, but had to stop at 3rd by rule.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Cardinals put a 7 spot on the board in the Top of the 11th. Surely our bullpen can hold a 7 run lead only needing 3 outs.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

How do Yankees fan watch games this guy pitches? I was watching some of the Yankees game before the Jays game started and my goodness...He's the most frustrating pitcher to watch on the mound. When things aren't going well he's incredibly slow and looks like he's in physical pain just to throw a pitch. The top of the 1st was nearly a full half hour long!Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I've been Justin Grimm's harshest critic for a while, but he was surgical tonight preserving the 4-0 lead in the 9th. Even the "balls" he threw were right on the black according to the pitch tracker.

Anthony Rizzo told #Cubs writers that Joe Torre informed him that he violated home-plate collision rule, but would not be disciplined. As I understand it MLB has not suspended a player for a violation of the collision rule since it was implemented.

It's actually kind of cool being in Denver right now with the Rockies playing so well. They've sucked every year since I moved out here, so everyone is always locked in on the Broncos.
While it sucks that tickets are a bit more expensive now, it's cool to see the city paying more attention to baseball.
That being said, Rizzo did kind of go out of his way to slide into the catcher. There was a big lane there to the plate where he could've gone in straight and avoided any contact.Last edited by Jr.; 06-20-2017, 10:16 PM.Comment

The play that Holland made to end the DBacks/Rockies game was really good. He made a pretty difficult play look quite easy.Comment

Your daily reminder that Nolan Arenado is ****ing amazing. Arizona puts up runs? No problem, Arenado triple to get them back and puts them ahead for good.Comment
