All thanks to Dyson getting a bunt single. Didn't see this coming after how the first five innings were going.

Awesome win, back to .500. Would be really nice if they could not go on another losing streak immediately after reaching .500 but I know that's asking for a lot.

Brings up the age old question, when is it too late to bunt when you're getting no-hit? I wonder if Dyson gets drilled today. Could be an intriguing story line.

Yes, more stupid unwritten rules. Don't bunt when you're getting no-hit or risk getting hit next game.

I hope he drops down a bunt on the pitch coming in on him and reaches first.

Can the Tigers please trade JV now.
I can't stomach watching him pitch anymore.
It seems like every AB he gets up 0-2 then spends the next 8 pitches nibbling on corners.
He threw 110 pitches last night and was pulled after 5.2 innings of work.

Detroit's bullpen sucks, but maybe they wouldn't suck as much if some of our starters could give the team 7 or 8 innings of work every now and then.

JV needs to go to the NL where he can throw 100 balls in 5 innings.

This team is in such bad shape for now and the future.
Zimmerman and Miggy's contracts are horrible. I'm not sure anyone is going to take Zimms contract off their hands without Detroit eating some of that salary.

Time to sell Avila. Move Kinsler, JV, Miggy, Zimms (if possible),Upton and maybe even Avila JR.
The prospect cupboard is pretty bare. Those guys should help restock to some degree.

The problem is, the AL Central is up for grabs so the Tigers brass probably thinks they still have a shot.
But I think it's only a matter of time before the Tribe wakes up and takes command of this division.

Agreed. I mean, the bunt happened in the sixth inning and then directly led to the comeback. Can't see how anyone could find fault with that.

Pretty amazing that they waited this long...we'll see if with the pressure removed he re-discovers the stroke.

I honestly thought it would've happened sooner but I expect he'll be in Iowa until after the break.

We know he's capable of hitting at this level just needs to get his swing right

Unlike Gonzalez, I feel Snitker manages the pen pretty well. His issue is waiting too long to go to the pen. Tonight is no exception. Garcia has no business being out there.
