Still can't believe this is the first time all season the M's have been over .500

I'm hoping Felix has a strong start tomorrow, first game I'll miss all year because I'm road tripping down to California.

If Felix comes back and is just decent, not bad, and Iwakuma/Smyly can come back soon, I think we have a legitimate shota at he playoffs. Our lineup is pretty amazing right now in it's current state, everyone is healthy on the offensive side for once, just need to get those pitchers healthy and hopefully playing good. If not, we have Gavilgio, Bergman, and now Moore who can fill in for someone who struggles (looking at you, Iwakuma)

Cano with a 2 run shot and a grand slam that cleared the wall by a combined 6 inches. But hey I'll take it. Over .500 for the 1st time this year.

I have a feeling this time next week the Jays will throw in the towel. It just doesn't seem like they have the pieces necessary to make any kind of run. The chase for .500 has been comical to say the least. They just can't get to that break even point. It's pretty much psychological now.

And yet they are only 5-6 games out in June. No way you throw in the towel this early unless they got on an 0-7 run and find themselves 10-12 games back. With the way the Yankees have played of late, there isn't a great team in this division.

.500 might even get you a wild card spot in the AL this year. A lot of AL teams are going to face a tough decision to sell when they're only a game or two out of the WC.

I just saw this on Deadspin:

The O's are close to tying one of the more embarrassing records in MLB history. If they allow 5 or more runs tonight they will be the 2nd team in history (1924 Phillies) to do that in 20 straight games.

Well HR Derby BP machine John Lackey is exactly the guy Stanton wants to see and Stanton promptly hits one over the fixture in CF at Marlins Park. Massive.

                    Nice play, Dansby!

Edit: and another nice one to end it.

Ron Washington doing work with this infield. Much improved.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Dansby won that game by himself in the 9th...he's improved immensely with the glove and the bat.

Wash has also done something else (I assume it's him)...this team is the BEST I've seen in a LONG time (best Braves team for sure) at going 1st to 3rd. Every single play is going 1st to 3rd, 2nd to home. It's awesome...the way we're playing right now is a lot of fun.

He needs to open his own coaching clinic. What ever it is he does is magic.

Zunino with another home run. Dunno what's gotten into him but it's pretty nice.

My gawd what a choke job by the Jays bullpen. Here's hoping Osuna isn't out for any great length of time.

Any kind of shoulder surgery is bad news. That really sucks to hear about Urias.
