If Guillen leaves his mouth behind, he'll be a great fit for that ballclub and gives them some pop in the lineup.

I agree with that. He can be a good 5 tool player as long as his head is screwed on straight.

                    I disagree with you guys.

This a bad trade for the Washington club.

Guillen is a head case and the Washington club gave up two quality guys for him.

Rivera's only 26 yrs old and he's cheap. He hit .307-.364-.465 last season, and his walk to strike out ratio was excellent (34 walks only 45 K's).

And then prospect they gave up was SS Maicer Izturis who's a good prospect. This past year, Izturis hit .338-.428-.423 with the AAA Trappers in 376 AB. He had 19 2B, 2 3B and 3 HR with a 57/30 BB/SO ratio.

Another foolish personal move by idiot Bowden who shouldn't be running the Washington club in the first place.

If I'm a GM right now I would calling to get Nick Johnson.

If guillen is in the washington team's plans for a while, this might be a good move.

However, if the GM intended this move to be so that washington could contend this year, then this is a really dumb move.

I'm not so sure Guillen is the right way to go for a team trying to catch a fresh start. He has a major history of disruptive behavior and if I was the GM I just wouldnt want this guy on my team. If there was a way to shut him up and get him to play, fine, he's an awesome player....but the other baggage weighs him down so much I just dont think it's worth it.
