Great to see Estrada have such a great performance and one that wasn't all for naught as the Jays walked off the A's. I'm sure tonight's start did a lot for Estrada's worth. If i'm Atkins and Shapiro I would package Estrada and Joe Smith in a deal.

I'm rooting for you Dansby while you work in the minors but my friend....you're going to have to learn how to come to the plate with a plan.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Nats hit 5 homers in the 3rd inning, 4 straight, against the Brewers.

Wow.
Russell Martin and Stroman got thrown out at the same time. In one batter, the manager, catcher and pitcher were tossed.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Yeah, OK, it's the end of a long road trip and they're facing Max Scherzer of all people, but I have to think Milwaukee is showing signs of starting to fold. As a Cub fan, I am more worried about Pittsburgh and St. Louis at this point. It was a nice 1st half at least and the Brewers are a bit ahead of schedule in the grand scheme, but it's not happening this season.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Yeah I think Milwaukee is done. And I wouldn't worry too much about St. Louis, too inconsistent to be a real threat.

Good lord, Michael Blazek gave up 6 homers to Washington today in a 15-2 loss. He recorded 7 outs. Maybe reconsider him as a spot starter, eh Craig Counsell? lolChicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

I was thinking about this...as good as the Dodgers have been, they would have to play better than .750 (46-14) ball the rest of the way to break the M's/Cubs record for regular season wins. It will be interesting to see if they can do it, but my money says they finish with 105 wins."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. Two straight walkoffs for the Blue Jays!
Nice to see the team at least being entertaining. I'm sure they'll be quite the spoiler team down the stretch. As for the Gibby/Stroman/Martin deal....I think they will all face suspension of some kind. Stroman went loco but honestly, Gret Little was giving attitude most of the day.
