Those ejections were ridiculous though. Ejecting a manager before he even leaves the dugout.....And then ejecting the pitcher AND catcher at the exact same moment after Stroman said 1 sentence to him....Sure they might've been commenting on stuff all afternoon, but umps have way too much control. All other sports you have to do some serious stuff to get ejected. MLB you get ejected just for complaining.

This Cubs-Sox game seems like it'll end 12-11. Homers aplenty early.

Jon Jay gets hit in the helmet, stays in the game and seems fine.

Watching the Yankees and Michael Kay and Paul O'Neil are discussing Aaron Judge and possible reasons for his slump. I wondered over to baseball reference, just to take a look at any trends, and something really jumped out at me: his home/away splits are insane! He is a monster at Yankee Stadium, but on the road he is just okay. So I check and they started the 2nd half on a long road trip...makes me wonder, how much of his success comes from the Stadium (not that he can't hit it out of anywhere).

J.D. Martinez is the first player to hit a grand slam in both leagues in the same season since Cespedes in 2015.

Before that was Will Clark in 2000.

Gary Sanchez hits a soft ground ball to short that was going to end the game, but the Rays were in a shift, both the ss and 2nd basemen didn't go for the ball, and now we head to extras.

And what followed that was a beautiful thing.

That should be a very telling series for the Brewers. Hopefully at least one of the games will be on national TV.

Gardner homer in the first, Judge in the 4th. 2-0 Yankees.

Clint Frazier adds 3 more with a home run. His bat speed is incredible to watch.

Heyward gave up on that ball too early.

                            Quintana all over the place.

Needed more than 1 run there with runners on 2nd and 3rd, no outs...

I haven't been this angry at the Braves in months...they look like absolutely crap tonight. Infuriating to watch...little league garbage.
