Last weekend before trade deadline! Never knowing who'll be traded, gotta make sure I don't miss Jays games. These could be final at bats here for certain guys.

Not a pleasant sight in Seattle for Mitch Haniger or anyone watching, really. Hit in the face by a DeGrom FB

Cubs doing a really good job of killing their own potential rallies with GIDP so far in Milwaukee. Another such play ends the top of the 1st tonight.

Man Schwarber is a disaster out there sometimes. Nearly fell over trying to catch that one.

Hendricks stuff looks like it did the first month. Velo back down in the 84-85 range and everything lacking any kind of sharp movement.

in 1970 Denny McLain went from 24 wins to 3, though he missed over half the year. I'm still searching for CY winners who started at least 30 games the next season.

EDIT Randy Jones went from 22 to 6 in 1977, starting 25 games
Steve Stone went from 25 to 4 in the strike shortened season of 1981

Junior Guerra is the anti-Brent Suter tonight. A righty that takes a ton of time between pitches and can't find the strike zone. Hopefully it results in the opposite results of last night.

Cub offense about as entertaining as watching paint dry right now. Javy is totally lost. Willy is cooling off. KB is going through a little slump. Heyward with a bad few games. Nobody is really looking hitterish out there at the moment.

                      Pitching continues to be good.

Bryant delivers an RBI single with his 3rd hit of the game. 1-1 game in the 7th. Hopefully he's starting to bust out.

Thanks for providing updates. I've been dealing with an ear infection so couldn't watch last night's game as my hearing was basically shot and lo and behold tonight's is nowhere on TV here. Here's hoping MLB-N shows tomorrow's game.

Odubel Herrera ties it up in the 9th taking Jim Johnson deep on the first pitch he saw!
