I can't wait for the day Newcomb doesn't take 100 pitches to ft 12 outs. It's getting tiring watching him struggle to come within half a foot of the zone so often. Having good movement means nothing when you're throwing strikes 3% of the time.

Hopefully it's clear to everyone now that this team was never a wildcard team no matter how bad you wanted it to be. This team is BAD.

Goldschmidt with 3 homers. Adding to his MVP resume. Unreal. Dude is somehow the most underappreciated player.

And all Andrelton Simmons does is....hit? Huge contributions with the bat again tonight as the Angels come up with the sweep against the Phillies. Oh and Trout homered again. Go Angels.

Braves were frustrating tonight. That pickoff/double play was sickening. Good for Ozzie getting a homer though.

Hopefully the Cubs can bounce back and get back in the W column after a disappointing loss yesterday. With Strasburg on the DL and Scherzer pushed back, the Cubs will miss both, so they really need to take advantage and win this series.

Believe it or not, I STILL think Mike Trout doesn't get the credit he deserves. The east coast bias is real.

I disagree. Dude won 2 MVP's while playing on non-playoff teams. I'd say he gets his due. Goldy on the other hand gets no pub wince he's out in AZ.

Yeah, anyone who calls themselves a baseball fan knows Trout is the best player in the game. There are some fans that still don't know how good Goldschmidt is.
