Not sure how that's going to work when you fire everyone.

              Good point.

              Dear ESPN,

Cody Allen shuts the O's down to close out Cleveland's 18th win in a row. What makes this more impressive to me is they had a 14-game version last season as well. Almost like getting hot is a skill for this team.

Did you see the piece before the game about Trevor Bauer and Carlos Carasco where they've made these baseball dolls of their teammates? Bauer may look like a sourpuss but that's a pretty neat team building thing.

As for the announcers, hush up everyone. Let Dan Shulman go down his final stretch with some dignity though the others can go look for work.

Another ESPN related thing, it was nice to see a Web Gems segment fully devoted to Superman Kevin Pillar

As for the Indians, I feel like they're setting themselves up for some kind of disappointing exit in the playoffs. Teams that are this blistering hot usually have a pretty bad cold streak immediately after.

That exchange between Avisal Garcia and Bauer last week was hilarious though...Bauer may be grumpy, but he's funny grumpy, IMO.

I feel like the Indians are the best team in baseball. Strong lineup up and down, good pitching, good bullpen. One of the best managers in the game and they were so close to a WS championship. They know they can get back there.

I wouldn't want any part of that team in October. Even if they are peaking a little early. That's still a really good team any way you slice it.
