I think one of the wild card teams (whether in the NL or AL) will be in the WS.

If that happens the only team I see doing it is the Diamondbacks. I don't think anyone in the AL wildcard race is capable of beating the Indians or Astros.

My World Series prediction is the Dodgers and Astros, with the Dodgers winning.

      ALCS: Astros vs Indians

      NLCS: Dodgers vs Cubs

Cubs and Pirates trying to get thru the 9th inning of an 8-2 ballgame in an absolute downpour.

Even Kershaw is struggling right now. This is like the baseball version of Space Jam.

Pretty amazing how everything is going wrong for the Dodgers right now...I guess if you want to get it out of your system, now is the time to do so.

Almost as if pulling wins out of your *** every single night wasn't sustainable.

They'll be fine in the long run though. Still can't **** with Kershaw and Darvish and Jansen in October.

Not sure Justin Wilson and his 6 ERA as a Cub is even worth carrying on the postseason roster. Missing Jeimer Candelario right now. Sniff sniff...

I'm wondering if the Dodgers will even win 100 at this pace...watching their games and it just has a weird feeling/vibe to it.

If the Dodgers lose again tonight and the Snakes win, the division lead will be in single digits. Also, the Indians now have the best run differential in baseball (+199).

The Cubs can put Milwaukee in their rightful place (3rd place or lower) with a series sweep starting tonight.

They have to go 8-14 to get to 100 wins.

Somebody tell Cleveland it's ok to lose, they're still gonna make the playoffs.

And the Padres are beating Arizona 4-0. Hey, look at this, the Dodgers might gain ground tonight.

EDIT: But then again, Jordan Lyles is on the mound for San Diego, so that might not happen.

Cleveland needs to lose sooner or later or else they'll have one of those "so hot heading into the playoffs now we'll flame out" type things.
