6 more games, 2 more homers needed for the rookie home run record. I expect Judge to hit one more, tie Big Mac, and then we will have the fake triple as the difference between a solid leader and a tie. That would be very baseball.

Record for 25 and under is the Mick with 52, a crazy surge could get that one as well.

Can't believe the regular season is coming to an end.

With that said we have 4 against the Cubs then 3 with the Brewers

If we want in the playoffs now is the time to prove it

Crazy that the Twins could very well be in the playoffs.

And Judge is tied with Big Mac for the AL rookie home run record, 49.

Hopefully Zobrist doesn't get one in the ear hole after all the talking about clinching in St. Louis he's been doing. I mean, leave that stuff to the fans. If a Cardinals fan wants to bean me, I will take the punishment for breaking an 'unwritten rule.'

And give us the record! 50 baby! No fake triple is holding us back!

              And another for Gary!

As a baseball fan watching Judge hit homeruns has been incredible to watch.

As a Yankee fan. It's truly been even more special.

Congrats to Aaron Judge on his achievement.

Now let's hope Stanton can claim the HR record

Oh my goodness. Judge is on fire. I'm really glad he's figured things out again.

Harper is activated tonight but I guess he won't play because he's sick. Still can't believe he escaped true damage to his leg.

Ozzie Albies rips his 5th home run in his 50th game...Swanson has 6 in almost 140 games.

Lester going tonight for the Cubs. He really needs a good start to build some mojo for the playoffs. If he sucks, the Cubs have no shot.

I was thinking about this the other day...the difference in this Cubs team and the last two years is there isn't "the guy" that you know you can count on to win a game. In 2015 when Arrieta faced Pittsburgh, I had very little doubt about the outcome. Last year, going into the playoffs, when Lester pitched I had very little doubt what he would bring. This year, if the Cubs had a must win game I think it's a toss up if they get a good start.

Cubs going for the knockout blow early with a 3 run 1st.

And counting. Weaver can't find outs.

4 runs so far. Seems like the moment might be a bit too big for the kid STL is pitching tonight (Weaver). Then again, maybe he's just getting hit.
