We had a deal on the table, but then they wanted us to up the offer after hearing about Yelich trade.
I doubt we get him, very expensive... We lost enough of our farm.
I would rather go Arrieta and Salazar.

Re: 2017-2018 MLB Hot Stove Thread
I have no idea how he knows this, but Jon Heyman tweeted tonight that the Brewers are hoping/planning to land two of the following three pitchers: Darvish, Arrieta, or Cobb.
My hat would be off to them if they made it happen...but I see 1 of 3 as a win for them."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Talk on the Brewers board is we want to add 2 SPs... One of the big 4 and one lesser SP via trade.

Man...I was looking at the calendar today and realized we are only 54 days away from Opening Day! That's exciting...but man, people need to sign already."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. About 10-11 days from most pitchers and catchers reporting and about 3 weeks from actual games being played. Almost that time of year. Love it.Comment
