I wonder what Otani will end up getting. He's young and the talent is really special, but there's always a good deal of risk with importing any player from a different level and who has been recently injured. I wonder how much that risk will cap how many dollars/years or if he'll work a heavily incentive-laden deal like Maeda has. Fierce bidding could make teams offer up more than they really want to.

I don't know what my Braves are doing. Camargo did a helluva job playing 3B and at the plate. On the other-hand Cozart is a SS that can play SS if Swanson falls out favor.

With the new rules, I think the most he can get is a 10 mil signing bonus and a rookie deal because he's coming over a year early.

Cardinals have outrighted SS Alex Mejia and C Alberto Rosario.

Not surprised in the least by either of these moves.

John Lackey intends to pitch in 2018.

Wonder what team is going to be blessed with Lackey this year.

Would Sox and/or Marlins entertain a Stanton for Beni, ERod and Groome trade?

The Orioles' "let's throw a bunch of ok-at-best arms at the problem" approach lives on.

Although Vargas did have a pretty good year.

Vidal Nuno has signed a Minor League deal with the Rays.

Reds to sign Kevin Quackenbush to a minor league deal. He will receive an invitation to Spring Training.

I'm sure Benintendi is off-limits, if they move an OF it will be Bradley... Since Benintendi or Betts can play CF.

I'd love to see the Brewers add Cobb and Chatwood to the rotation of Nelson (when he comes back), Anderson and Davies.

Both could probably be had on a 3-4 year deal.

Sounds like there could be a trade brewing between the Cubs and Giants involving Jason Heyward.

Yikes...if Heyward has struggled to put numbers in Wrigley, AT&T Park will kill his numbers.
