Rangers tried signing him(2.75M for one year and a 4.5M club option with 250k buyout the next) but he failed a physical and they tried re-working the contract but his agent didn't want to. Jays end up getting him for only 1 year,2M lol.

A steal if they end up getting anything even similar to the 2016 version of him.

Yeah, that's a good signing for them, especially given that it's a bargain.

I have no issues with Zeke but he was an embarrassment. There are far better guys out there for the OF on a semi-regular basis.

Watching the spring training game yesterday the announcers were saying the reason it was taking so long was because in Fort Myers he had to go to several different medical facilities for specialized parts of the physical, where at Boston General everything is all in one facility which is more convenient/faster.

It actually sounds like you have at least two issues with Zeke.

Looks like Tim Lincecum is going to make a decision soon. Looks to be between the Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Cubs also signed former top prospect Danny Hultzen this morning.

Timmy chooses Texas... Will pitch out of bullpen, possibly compete for closer role.

Lincecum is a Ranger...they need arms in the pen, so that's a good move for him, IMO.
