Wait, so Ichiro is back back with the Mariners? So this isn't a one day to retire with the Mariners thing? Yikes.

Really not sure how Cobb and Lynn remain unsigned, they strike me as the sort of guy literally every team would want? Not hugely expensive, not requiring a huge commitment, but just solid middle of the rotation guys.
This off season has been so broken that it's going to be the catalyst for a huge change in baseballComment

Forgot to mention Jose Bautista may throw in the towel Apparently he's had a few offers of a million dollars (or slightly more) but nothing that meets his expectations.Last edited by SPTO; 03-08-2018, 07:57 PM.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Come on guys, make the call, make the deal and lets get him into camp!I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Wow, would have never thought Moose would have to settle for 1 year deal.

EDIT: Never mind, I misunderstood what you were saying. You meant more about the 1 year deal.Last edited by Jr.; 03-08-2018, 11:10 PM.Comment

Re: 2017-2018 MLB Hot Stove Thread
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a work stoppage of some kind. (hopefully a very short one)
Forgot to mention Jose Bautista may throw in the towel Apparently he's had a few offers of a million dollars (or slightly more) but nothing that meets his expectations.
Wonder if at the very least he might just sign 1 day contract with Jays and hang it up after that if he really does want to retire. Don't really know how that works. When guys are retiring, do they sign 1 day contracts with a team if that team was also their most recent(and most known) one?Comment
