and this is a problem because????

So news gets shared multiple times on occasion...big deal.

And I don't go to share immediately. On this occasion I was already on OS when I got the alert. I wasn't doing anything at work so I posted the signing. I'm not seeking to be the first to post breaking news, just sharing news as it comes and when I have time.

Rangers agree to terms with Julio Pablo Martinez. He will receive a $2.8M signing bonus.

He's definitely one among many in a crowded bullpen competition. Seeing that he's an extreme fly ball pitcher and his not so great performance last season I dunno if he'll make it onto the team. It's a minor league deal so no big whoop either way.

                    We'll see how it goes.

Especially because there's only two players left on the Rays.

Off-topic but relevant to the Rays.

Wife's friend is in a when we're together we're together relationship with Blake Snell, and the guy is a super cool dude.

Got to talk to him for a bit, and I write for a website and he even did a mini interview with me which was cool.

It was FaceTime, but Chris Archer was right there too and the pitchers were playing fortnite as a team bonding.

Just a fun thing I decided to share haha.

I know 4 and 6 man rotations are real unconventional for a reason, and I'm not saying either could ever work in this era of baseball, but I think it's only a matter of time before we see some kind of drastic change in baseball and other sports like we did in NBA with the whole 3 point craze.

All it takes is 1 team to have success at something and everyone will try copying them. If a team out there has a 4 man rotation or 6 man rotation and makes playoffs and possibly even wins WS with it, you'll see others jumping on board.

Probably best left to try in a video game, but I wonder how a 4 man rotation would work with an 8 man bullpen. And salary wise, delegate the money from the 5th starter towards the other 4.

C'mon man! the concept of the 4 man rotation is VERY conventional. It was only fazed out by the early '90s. It was THE standard for pretty much all of modern MLB. Now the 6 man, that can go to hell.
