I would be so pissed if Atlanta made that trade...

Doesn't make sense for either side, but wanted to share.

No...it doesn't at all. Betts is one of the top 3 players in the game, but we already have a glut of outfielders. We already have a Porcello on our team (Julio Teheran) and Folty has the stuff to grow into Max Scherzer in the next 5 years. Finally, Ozzie has such a bright future and the Braves are building for the future...would just be a stupid trade all around.

          1. You make 30 sound like its ancient. DeGrom could be a front line starter for another 5 years or so if he takes care of himself. The Yankees have position player prospects up the wazoo right now. I think they can afford to trade one if it means a World Series Championship or two.

          2. That Boston writer must be writing a joke column ROFL! I mean, first of all, the Braves are NOT going to do that so it's a non-starter in the first place. Secondly, Porcello is too hold and cold and while Betts is salvageable (change of scenery guy IMO) the Braves aren't giving up their present and future for a question mark.

I think you are confusing Betts with Bradley...

Still would not do it :-):-) :-):-) :-)

And Betts...the top 3 player in MLB, arguably, is in need of a change of scenery. I know you're a Jays fan, man, but come on now haha.

Change of scenery won’t help jbj. He just can’t hit.

Yankees and Mariners interested in Happ from the jays. I hope they do get a good return. And start selling more guys and stop kidding yourself thinking they'd make playoffs, or trick people into paying double the price of tickets to see a bad team.

Man, you've gone sour on this organization. I think Happ is their best commodity to trade unfortunately. I'd actually try to trade Smoak too but you're going to get next to nothing from him. Estrada is probably the 2nd best commodity to dangle to other teams especially he can continue to pitch the way he did against Washington.

It's not the entire organization. They do have a bright future. It's the whole fact that ownership could pressure them to do things they shouldn't. Vlad being called up this year would be an example of that for roster control purposes.

When those reports came out about Rogers Centre and jays possibly being sold, that's when notable media people suddenly did a 180 on ownership and started criticizing a baseball team being owned by a corporation and how its hurt them. But all those comments have been forgotten since season began.

Nats are in the process of trading for Kelvin Herrera

Correction: the Nats HAVE traded for Kelvin Herrera

3 good prospects to KC, but not Soto and Robles.
